Three people killed as car splits in half on impact

Three people were killed on Sunday night when the vehicle in which they were travelling went out of control on a bend and collided with a traffic safety pole on the N2 close to the Macassar offramp in the Western Cape‚ ER24 emergency medical service reported.

It said the vehicle was split in half by the impact. The accident occurred just before midnight.

 “The road was wet and the vehicle allegedly lost control at a slight bend and collided with a traffic safety pole. The vehicle split in half‚ killing all three passengers.

“ER24 paramedics attended the scene‚ but unfortunately there was nothing they could do for the patients‚” ER24 said.
