The blow by blow details, contained in a police statement, were seen by Sunday World this week after the Johannesburg Magistrate's Court granted him R7000 bail.
According to the statement, signed by Lieutenant Dithomo Mmako of Hillbrow police's investigation unit, Mandela allegedly demanded a kiss from the minor after the alleged rape.
He then allegedly called the girl the following day and threatened her, boasting that he had a direct line to the minister of justice.
