Nompulelelo Ntuli-Zuma (known as MaNtuli) "will soon be charged" for allegedly plotting to poison President Jacob Zuma, this is according to a report by City Press.

The report alleges that MaNtuli has admitted to knowing about the poison plot.

According to the City Press, MaNtuli will 'soon' be charged with conspiracy to commit murder.

The weekly paper reports that MaNtuli, who is allegedly being investigated and is believed to have given her statements to the investigating officials, will be charged as a co-conspirator along with an unnamed 'flamboyant' KwaZulu-Natal businessman.

The First Lady came onto the spotlight in February following reports that President Zuma had kicked her out of their Nkandla home for suspecting that she was involved in a plot to poison him.

MaNtuli's law firm, BDK Attorneys has denied the allegations that she knew about the plot.

The firm has also shut down reports about MaNtuli possibly being charged with conspiracy to commit murder.
