If you’re one of those males that is always taking selfies we have some news for you.

A new study led by Ohio State University Professor Jesse Fox has found that men who post numerous selfies online tend to exhibit higher levels of narcissism and psychopathy.

The news doesn’t get better boys, the study also found that men who spend time editing the selfies they post with filters etc have higher levels of narcissism and self-objectification.

The study looked at the online behavior of 800 males between the ages of 18 and 40.

All the participants filled out a survey about their relationship with selfies, along with questionnaires about objectification and anti-social behavior.

While some of the men involved in the study showed higher levels of psychopathy than others in the group, everyone tested within the normal range.

Psychopathy is traditionally defined as a personality disorder characterized by enduring antisocial behavior, diminished empathy and remorse, and dis-inhibited or bold behavior.
