A manhunt is on for three of five men linked to a rape and house robbery in Huhudi‚ near Vryburg‚ police said on Friday.
The attack and theft took place in the early hours of Thursday in Monotomosetlha village‚ Huhudi.
The 36-year-old woman and her husband were woken by sound of people talking outside their home‚ police said. The men called the husband by name and he went to open the door. They told him they were looking for a television set.
Four of the men went into the house and took turns in raping the woman‚ while her husband “was being interrogated” by one of the men.
Two of the suspects were arrested on Thursday‚ and police are searching for the other three.
