The 68-year-old principal who ordered two toddlers to re-enact sexual intercourse and filmed it, after they were caught in a toilet has been sentenced.
Daphne Sithembe, was given a five-year suspended sentence for compelled rape AlexNews reported. Her name will be submitted to the National Register for Sex Offenders and she will be required to disclose her conviction if she seeks any employment with children.
The incident occurred in February of 2014. The toddlers then 2 and 5 years old were caught by caregivers having sexual intercourse in the toilet. The caregivers then informed the principal, Sithembe, and she ordered the children to re-enact what they had done and filmed it “to provide proof to their parents, should the children deny it.”
Sithembe pleaded guilty to the charges brought against her.
Sithembe operated her crèche from her own home and it has been closed.
