Flabba trial date set for August

The late rapper Nkululeko Flabba Habedi’s brother Tshepang has maintained that he knows exactly what happened on the night his brother was killed.

"I know what happened that night and I don't care what the court outcome is because I know.

"I don't want to go into detail but I know," maintained Habedi.

Flabba was stabbed once on the heart allegedly by his girlfriend Sindisiwe Manqele on the 9 of March earlier this year.

Flabba's close friend, Nkululeko shared Tshepang’s sentiments.

The Habedi family was also briefed by the prosecution outside the court that they can expect the trial to drag a week or two between the 17th to the 28th of August.

The Kempton Park based Manqele who has been out on bail will go on trial on the 17th of August.

She has pleaded not guilty to the murder of Flabba claiming that she killed him in self defence as her life was in danger.
