SAA pilot, Jacques van Tonder, who is accused of fatally shooting another man, Louis Jansen van Rensburg, in an apparent road rage incident, was released on R10 000 bail yesterday.

The Kempton Park Express on the 6th of May reported that Boksburg resident Louis Jansen van Rensburg (53) was shot and killed on Daeraad Road, in Bonearo Park.

It’s alleged that Van Tonder skipped a stop sign and was pursued and stopped by Jansen van Rensburg.

Van Rensburg then got out of his vehicle and walked over to Van Tonder’s car, an argument ensued which allegedly ended with Van Rensburg fatally shot in the face.

Van Tonder, the accused, was travelling with his two daughters, aged 14 and 10 at the time of the incident.
