Morgan Deane‚ estranged wife of former Proteas captain Graeme Smith‚ is accusing his mates of bullying her.

The Irish singer took to Twitter – twice – this morning to hit out at his fellow Cricket South Africa teammates.

She wrote: “Appalled by social media bullying by past CSA players and grown men associated with G. Appalled”.

Deane did not elaborate on the type of comments she had received‚ nor who had posted them.

The Sunday Times reported in March that the sports star had “abandoned” his family in favour of spending time with his mates at the Cricket World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

There were further rumours that the former Proteas captain has formed a close relationship with blonde beauty Justine Haddon‚ a Cape Town businesswoman who owns a clothing boutique. Haddon said she was not responsible for the break-up of Smith’s marriage and denied she was involved in a romantic relationship with him. Smith has denied the affair and sending Deane the “divorce” SMS.

Deane‚ who celebrated her 32nd birthday on Friday‚ met Smith in January 2011 while she was holidaying in South Africa. She married him in Cape Town later that year. They have two children‚ Candace‚ aged two‚ and one-year-old Carter.

She has given interviews declaring how lonely she is in Cape Town and stating that she plans to return to her family in Ireland.
