Gay Zulu wedding couple headed for splitsville

Popular gay couple Tshepo Cameron Modisane and Thoba Calvin Sithole’s marriage is reportedly on the rocks.

The two men tied the knot in 2013, in what was proclaimed ‘Africa's first traditional gay wedding’.

It seems like the honeymoon phase is now over as the couple are now living apart.

According to SundayWorld, Modisane has moved out of their Buccleuch flat and is now living with a friend in Pretoria.

Sithole confirmed that he and his husband were living apart but threw cold water on rumours that their split was due to Cameron impregnating a woman.

“I can confirm that Cameron and I have not been living together for the past two weeks. But it has nothing to do with rumours that he impregnated a woman. In fact, when we both heard those rumours we laughed them off because Cameron is so gay and there was no way that could have possibly happened”, he told the paper.

Sithole added that all hope was not lost and there was still room for them to reconcile.

“Like any couple we have our own problems and we will overcome them,” he said.
