The SABC on Monday said it would no longer schedule Pastor Sithembiso Zondo on Ukhozi FM's breakfast show "Vuka Motivation".

"This follows the unfortunate incident of the release to the public of a video and photos purported to be of Pastor Zondo in a compromising position," spokesman Kaizer Kganyago said in a statement.

He said the decision was taken in accordance with Ukhozi FM's brand as well as that of the SABC.

"The decision was taken following careful consideration, as to the negative impact this situation would have on the credibility of the said programme the pastor was contributing to, as it deals with morality issues."

The Daily Sun reported last week that a video had surfaced of Zondo naked, talking on his cellphone. It appeared to have been filmed by a woman in a pink skirt.
