COPIES of the much anticipated and controversial "Traditional Venda Porn" DVD might be up for sale soon.

That's if "Venda Porn King" Zwoluga Madega seals a deal with any of two interested parties who want to buy the copyrights of the Bush Pie #3 DVD.

Sowetan can reveal that the erotic DVD has been classified by the Film and Publications Board (FPB) and has been given an X18 rating.

An anti-porn forum comprising morality advocates, traditional leaders, pastors and Thohoyandou police lobbied against the DVD launch, a move that subsequently forced Madega to go underground.

At the centre of the outcry was the fact that Madega used Venda cultural artifacts for pornographic purposes, something that was in contrast with the high moral values Venda people are apparently renowned for.

So controversial is the DVD that it even cost two FPB employees their jobs in September. They were caught trying to steal a copy of Bush Pie #3 as it was in the process of being classified by the regulatory body.

Madega recently revealed to Sowetan that he was negotiating two deals with a major adult shop and a Gauteng-based businessman he refused to name until the deals were finalised.

He could not be reached for comment yesterday.
