Angelina Jolie calls on more countries to help fight Ebola

Angelina Jolie on Tuesday called on the world to do more to contain the Ebola outbreak in West Africa.

The Hollywood actress and UN goodwill ambassador spoke in Sydney where she is promoting her new film, Unbroken.

"I would say there are many countries in the world that could do more and we all need to collectively do everything that we can, because this is a global crisis and it affects all of us," Jolie told reporters.

The Ebola outbreak, which is centred in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone, has claimed more than 5,000 lives, the World Health Organization says. More than 14,000 people in eight countries are infected.
