An Italian nurse was arrested after a 78-year-old patient dies under suspicious circumstances.
According to reports, a nurse allegedly murdered 38 patients with a fatal dose of potassium chloride to cause their hearts to stop beating.
Investigators believe the nurse committed the murders because she had a grudge against 'irritating' patients and their 'pushy' relatives.
The nurse even allegedly took several selfies depicting Poggiali giving a 'thumbs up' over dead bodies in hospital beds.
Daniela was arrested in the weekend, in Northern Italy.
The Italian newspaper, Corriere della Sera, quoted one of the nurse's colleagues as saying that when patients became too demanding Daniela would say, “Leave it to me, I’ll silence them.”
