The United States is responsible for spreading the deadly Ebola virus, claims a Liberian-born American professor Dr. Cyril Broderik.

Dr. Broderik claims that the United State Defence Department has genetically modified Ebola and have been testing it on humans.

Ebola has thus far killed about 3000 people in Africa since its first breakout in early May 2014.

Dr. Broderik is a professor of agriculture in a US state university and claims that Ebola is Genetical Modified Organism (GMO) and the US has selected certain African countries where they have been testing the effectiveness of the virus on people.

He said that Us must stop using Africans as guinea pigs when testing their researches.

“Reports narrate stories of the US Department of Defense (DoD) funding Ebola trials on humans, trials which started just weeks before the Ebola outbreak in Guinea and Sierra Leone,” wrote Broderik in a column on The Daily Observer.

According to Outbreak News Today, Broderick has urged African people and countries to pursue criminal and civil redress for damages against the U. S., Canada, France, and the U. K. for their “detestable and devilish deeds”.

The university has since distanced itself from Dr. Broderik’s claims, saying that his comments have nothing to do with any research the professor is doing at the university.

“The university is not going to abridge his First Amendment rights to give his opinion about the issues of the day,” said Carlos Holmes, a spokesman for the school.

“I’m not sure Dr. Broderick is doing research in this area. He’s a plant scientist and there’s no research like that relating with pathogens and viruses taking place in Delaware State University,” he added.
