'ANC will die natural death': Malema

EFF president Julius Malema had an interesting conversation with Kaya FM’s Bob Mabena this morning during his breakfast show 180 with Bob Mabena.

Malema initially called in for an interview to discuss issues around wearing red overalls in Parliament as well as being asked to leave parliament.

However the conversation soon turned to cover a range of issues.

In his usual ‘shoot from the hip’ manner told of how the DA owns the economy and reiterated that his party stands firm on representing the poor.

In addressing the issue of forcing entry into the legislature and the acts of theft committed by some of his followers, Malema had this to say:

“I condemn the activity of being violent, however we will not stop protesting and we will do it again. We have been removed from legislature because of overalls.”

“The only requirement we needed to get in the Legislature is one seat which we accomplished, we are not going to be bullied by the ANC,” he said.

“I was sworn in wearing overall since entering parliament. No one had a problem.

“ANC thinks overalls represent gardeners, we look like this because we are trying to represent the poor of the poorest that have been excluded by the ANC government,” Malema said.

Speaking about the future of EFF in the world of politics, Malema said he sees EFF succeeding to power in 20 years.

“ANC in the next 20 years would have died a natural death, EFF will be in leadership.”

Chatting to Bob Mabena and Kuli Robert on their breakfast show Malema warned those voting for DA to stop contributing to the downfall of the South African economy.

“The DA owns the economy, those that continue to vote for DA are bringing people from outside who are here to take over the economy.”
