Benny Southern and Danie du Bruyn raised eyebrows when they underwent the traditional African rite of passage at Makhushwaneng village in Zebediela, Limpopo.
The two boys and another named Luciano Blom were part of the 306 men and boys who underwent the right of passage in the area.
Du Bruyn was renamed Lesiba, Blom became Matsobane while Southern is now known as Madimetja.
