NSPCA hijacks election campaign with their own photos

Eye catching “election” posters that appeared on street poles around Durban today, just one day before the national elections give voters paws for thought.

The posters depicting a variety of endearing dogs and cats is a publicity campaign by local advertising agency The Hardy Boys, on behalf of the National Council of SPCAs (NSPCA).

The animal welfare organisation’s spokesperson Christine Kuch says: "Elections are generally a time when South Africans reflect on issues that are important to them. Our aim with this campaign is to remind voters that the welfare of all animals should be one of those issues."

Another brand hijacking the voters' attention is Nando's with their tagline "Don't be a muppet - vote for the Nando's party puppet of your choice" in our HotOrNot competition.
