A man has been arrested after he knocked down and killed a pedestrian while spinning his car. He also knocked down and injured four other bystanders while attempting to get away from the scene

The incident was reported in Ikageng, North West.

“The man, driving a silver VW Golf, was allegedly spinning his vehicle on Mogolodi Street and collided with a pedestrian. He tried to escape and community members gave chase,” said police spokesman Sergeant Philani Nkwalase.

The driver was allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol.

He knocked down four other bystanders while attempting to get away from the scene.

The four were taken to hospital for treatment.

The man was later arrested and charged with culpable homicide.

He will appear in the Potchefstroom Magistrates’ Court soon.

Imagine ifeveryone is driving like these morons on our public roads what example is these dropouts setting to our kids lastly you may finf that the very same car that killed innocent people is a stolen i usualy told my friends lately that i dont attend to these kind of activities i remember it was happening in Potgietersrus let us remind people that a car is not something to play with had it ever happen to you involve in an accident previously then you know what i am talking about
