Never in the history of the ANC, has a political family ever engaged in something like this, particularly in the eye of the public and in the runup to an ANC National Conference. Obviously the Zuma family has someting to celebrate: R250m of taxpayers' money spent on the Zuma homestead. @ JahNeh no I was not in India I was in SA for holiday E and W Cape where I saw huge disparities, with the EC anc hub province the most impoverished, and WC well run and all the anc and its leaders are good for is to be blame Helen Zille, the anc is pushing no brainer politics which will not sustain our country. I have seen scores of car guard, are these young men able to sustain themselves and their families with car guarding salaries? is this anc's idea of job creation./entrepreneurship? I was shocked, angry and cried on behalf of these ppl who are being dehumanised by the regime they so religiously vote for. I've seen my life turning around after I've taken my ancestors seriously. Looking at before and after, I can see a big difference in my life. Believe you me, it can also work for you.

I killed 3 goats in 2009. I then after 2 months I found a good job, I found wife and lot of other things after that. I also got 5 lotto numers and bonus number, and I was paid about R700 000. So, these things work.

For instance when we growing up as kids, we told don't point to the direction of the sky cause its disrespectful to God, we have since learnt that if he exists he exists within you (heart) so which is which?

we were also told as kids to not play outside in the dark cause the Thikolosh will catch you, how many of us are doing all kinds of things outside in the dark? more importantly has anyone got a picture of Thikoloshe? so we can have an idea what he/she looks like? or what does he/she do for a living, is his or her gender? how many sibblings he has? when was he/she born? who are his/her parents?

in developed countries, when ppl start speaking and believing superstition they usually lock that person up in the institution (mental) for observation, at which point you have no control of your finances or anything anymore the state appoints someone to act your behalf, for instance if you have kids, they social workers will appoint guardian/foster parents for them till your mental state is sorted,

IRO monuments, for instance when I was in the UK they have a wall where all soldiers died in the war's names are listed, citizens go these walls for remembrance and to pay tribute, they don't worship the dead cause they know that those ppl have died and whatever is left of them are bones, the flesh dissolved into particles of the soil once it has been consumed by living creatures in the ground, the breath evaporated into the gasses of the atmosphere, please think... its not that difficult.

Karl Marx's world was very different to todays world. Today most of the planet is socialist (where government employs more than half of the labour force). There isn't really a capitalist society anymore. All that I'm opposed to is faceless people coming to such sites and throwing all forms of insults to African believes and values systems while promoting what they have acquired from westerners and other cultures above everything. If you don't believe in something, stay the way you are and stop going around telling others are wrong for having certain beliefs. Doing so is actually tantamous to exposing yourself. I would never wish to share your views about life.
For your information: Not everything modern is an invention of the west. Some of the things you mentioned were neither not invented by westerners nor perfected by them. Asians and to a lesser extent Africans also have contributed a lot to modern achievements and advancements. So stop crediting your masters for everything.

TOKYO77- If I comprehend you correctly, you are saying JZ's aquittal is due to the portion he took prior to his court appearence. Well, I dont know what you've been smoking or drinking but its obvious it affected your (non-existent) brain. JZ was acquitted because he interfered with court proceedings, namely the judiciary and witnesses. There must be something in the water system today in SA, as it seems everyone who is commenting here today lacks a brain cell or two. I give up.

Hia Mgwijikhwembu, sorry I got side-tracked at the same time couldn't resist on the west vis Africa being better governed, I didnt' think I would have to explain this to you as I am of impression its blatantly obvious that Africa's tax is spend on self serving leaders whilst Western tax its spent on the citizens, eg on gov schooling in the West its a choice to use public schools for your children gov schooling are fully functional no text books dumped in the feld like here in SA, hospital, did you know a patient can chose if they want a male or female doctor? that abundance of basic health care, eg with gynaes as you know that there is more muslim population residing in the West running from oppression like Africans from own countries so its legal that a female patient can request to be treated by a female doctor, in Africa even the vet is consulting with the villagers, that's thanks to underdeveloped health infrastructure the whole of Africa. Not to mention the dire transport system I call it coffins of the wheels in the case of SA, and African leaders will not do anything for the ordinary folks to improve their lives cause foolish ppl like you refuse to hold them accountable.

Lastly to show evidence that West is superior than Africa, check who is rushing to which continent to seek a better life, its definitely not the Westerners dying trying to cross into Africa in makeshift boats. I have YET to read about or SEE a Westerner who went to seek refugee from political religious etc violence from their country in any other countries outside the West.

And you know what hurts me very much as I account these horrid Africa events to you? is that the bodies in the unmarked graves in Africa (Sahara desert) of Africans who died running away from oppression in their own countries are ESCALATING, and is going to TAKE a WESTERN NGO to bring attention to the plight of Africans (in the horn and West) of Africa not African governments who are as we speak too busy accummulating corruptly resources for themselves and their families whilst most ordinary Africans are just peasants. And you wanna defend this? You must be a pschopath. anyway you should know that as we speak your leaders children shop for their luxuries in the West not in Africa, some study in the West for better and superior education, ask Swaziland and Joe Mamat whose children have just enjoyed vacation in the West curtesy of SAn taxpayers, so you can deny that West brings greatness but evindent shows that your leaders would much rather shop for wedding clothes of their children in teh West, they wld much rather drink Western imported whiskeys, ooh they would rather go West for medicament whilst you peasants are reduced to just being car guards and child soldiers to defend their ill gotten gains.

I hate to sound to be appraising the West but evidence is there guys for all to see that amongst other things African refugees are much better cared for in the West than in Africa, in SA they were murdered, so don't ever say West is not delivering greatness. That's not to say they are perfect but most times they are doing the right things not just for themselves but for the world, especially the orphans of the world, did you know that both British Air Ways and Virgin Atlantic are collecting funds from users of the service for charity reasons? I have new found respect for the British (and the West) cause when ever there is a crisis its them who jump first to the cause with humanitarian aid.

Service delivery start from the villages, where tribal leaders evidently slaughters a couple of heads of cattles to feed the village dwellers, share the meat with them and dance for them to ensure if service delivery done at that level did indeed meet the people's needs and people are satisfied for a day.
And ask for people to vote for them whilst they are still under euphoria of eating meat and drinking soghurm beer, definitely hundreds of votes would be secured on the way to mangaung, Thanks to tribal shower head trickstar.

For the record. Personally, I do not see anything wrong in the story as it is a private familly garhering to perform a ritual of which I must point out, that the Zuma clan has a right as it is enshrined in our wonderful Constitution.

As someone in the media industry, I think we need to find out the real reason of some stories. Are they written to inform, educate or patronise? Just asking.
