Lesson learnt, All those people who has scrap vehicles in their yard, get rit of them now, they belong to the scrap yard not your home. I have seen lots of them in Orlando East, remove them now, they even house rats.

Shame. That mother and that grandmother must be devastated.
Please people, little ones are fast and they are always getting into places where they shouldn't, be vigilant. Don't leave them to play without supervision

So sad they did in their sleep

"It look like the managed to open the door of the car, played inside and fell asleep (Sethlako said - the investigating officer). There was no indication that the children had tried to get out and Sethlako believes they must have fallen asleep and died due to extreme heat and lack of air"

This is a really sad story..............

That is a hectic age. You can't reason with them and you can't turn your back for a second without them trying to kill themselves. They are so adorable though :)

Very sad. That is one hot place. My employer posted me in that direction several times in a car that did not have an air conditioner. I could have suffocated. Thank goodness I survived. I can not, however, say the same thing for the cousins. Tragic story in deed.

but the grandmother is irresponsbile, surely they did not die in 20 minutes, they must have been there for over 2 hours and more for skin to be sunburned...........as a grandmother how do you go through the day not knowing where a 2 and 3 yr old are for so long?.......

I almost lost my son 2009 in that way and I was washing the car in a hot summer day without realising he sneaked and entered the car~window tinting! I saw him sweating like mad, just on time to save him! sad indeed, death has no shame or pride, such young precious things wow!

This is not about the car people, this is about adults not taking the initiative to constantly check up on kids even if they are playing in the yard.
my kids are slightly older and I contantly check on them especially when they are too quiet for my liking.

Same thing for disused fridges/freezers - have heard horror stories of children getting stuck inside and suffocating. My heartfelt sympathies to the families of the little girls. Rest in peace angels

............and blacks like keeping car shells , if the car was made in 1960, and its only a shell, why not sell it as a metal scrap and make some cash instead of having false hope to have it fixed someday, which we all know it will not be fixed....

Ja, I'm not going to judge. I've had it where I thought my toddlers were napping in the lounge so I took the opportunity to do some washing and, minutes later, I discovered them up a tree in the back garden.
