Sisulu lashes out at DA MP

Public Service Minister Lindiwe Sisulu told DA MP David Maynier to take his "flea-infested body" and sit down after he accused her of wasting public resources.

Maynier raised the issue of Sisulu using luxury jets while she was defence minister during members' statements in the National Assembly on Tuesday.

"I can only imagine that the former minister of defence and military veterans, Lindiwe Sisulu, is desperately missing the ultra-luxury [of the] privately owned Gulfstream executive jets operated by the South African Air Force," he was quoted as saying.

Current Defence Minister Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula had acknowledged in a reply to a parliamentary question that Sisulu travelled in a luxury Gulfstream jet more than 200 times between Pretoria and Cape Town, at the cost of R200,000 a trip.

Maynier said: "The minister of defence claims there were 203 flights. But the former minister of defence claims there were 35 flights."

According to the report, Sisulu said Maynier's claims were "hogwash and balderdash" and instructed him to take his "flea-infested body and sit down".

National Assembly Speaker Max Sisulu responded to complaints about Sisulu's remarks by saying he would study Hansard, the printed transcripts of parliamentary debates, and make a ruling later.

She must also be chased out. Typical ANC behaviour. When they can or will not provide answers, they resort to insult.

Former anti-apartheid activist Mamphela Ramphele said the ANC treated voters like children,
“Come election time, it will appeal to you to vote for the party of Mandela, [it will] appeal to you to vote for the only liberation movement [and] appeal to you not to vote for the DA because they will take you back to apartheid,”
“It's almost treating you like children and, unfortunately, we don't have civic education - where people understand that it is not possible to be taken back to apartheid. If you are poor and uneducated, you wonder if it is not possible that it can happen again.”

malemaforpresident, you know what is the really scary part? For the past year or so I've heard more and more older black people say that it was easier during apartheid, because then they knew the enemy was from without. Now that the enemy is from within they don't know how to fight a once loved one.

She is the family, do you think Max can take action to his own sister for a DA MP nog all? I doubt it, so she actually wasted R200000 x 200 = R40000000 and yet there are cheaper flight every day going to Cape Town, this boys and girls are taking us for a ride. ANC MP'S are so full of themselves, they are not even sensitive of the poor little girls withought pads in the rural areas, They just look at their own Big Stomack

Spirro, I think Max will have a full scale investigation launched to find out if the man does have fleas, while the secret service plants the fleas, and then, when the investigation reveals that he does have fleas, nothing will happen to Lindi, as the truth is the truth.

This arrogant beach really needs to learn the most basic manners. Can't deal with issues inside her portfolio, so resorts to pathetic, adolescent name-calling. What sensible politics we practice here.

Public Service Minister????? - In her morally bankrupt tiny mind, this pathetic criminal believes that her position means that the 'Public' MUST 'Service' her lavish corrupt lifestyle.

So really what she is trying to defend, by her typically slanderous and immature anc deflection tactics, is that she has no shame about spending R200,000.00 of tax payers money on a 2.5 hour flight. Not only once but over 200 times = R40,000,000.00 in total...that is just insane!!!!

WOW!!!! R80,000.00 an hour - what a great investment of OUR tax money!!!!! How can anyone justify this cost to the tax payer and then also insult those who bring it to our attention?????

FU.CK the anc!
