The SACP and Blade have lost credibility in the eyes of many intellectuals and academics who are aware of what is happening in South Africa today as far as leadership is concerned. All of the sociaist who were selfless before acquiring power are now powerhungry and would do anything to cling to it. The situation today in SA would seem to be worse than it was in 2008 as a result of the tame socialist in SACP and COSATU.

Mbeki might have grossly erred on the HIV and AIDS correlation issue but he more credible as he was never implicated in any crimilnality before and during his tenure as president or leader in the ANC.

Thabo Mbeki was and is still the best president this country has ever had. Zuma and his friends want to take credit for things that they never did.
Under Mbeki's government the economy was growing at 6 to 7% per year.
Under Zuma's government economy has only managed to grow by 1%
We never experienced economic downgrades during Mbeki's government.

Having said that, I do admit that he (Mbeki) does have mistakes like (HIV and Aids), but Mbeki is an outstanding leader

However, we can all remember what happened and what Zuma said after he had unprotected intercourse with the young lady Khwezi, the daughter of his friend. Yes Mbeki denied that HIV causes AIDS but he was spot on when it comes to the medicine and he was so concerned about the after effects of the ARV...Another point - America is making huge profitts from pharmacy industry and ARV was developed during the time when america realise that their economy will soon collapse..ARV was an attempt by US to save their economy!!!They never care about the after effects hence they were doing anything into their power to distribute them although at that point they never had anything to counter attack the after effects of the medicine and they were willing to discredit any-1 who happen to fight ARV's..Mbeki was the victim!!!

I'm not a fan of Jacob Zooma and ndithi makehle...Phantsi ngoZuma!!!When Zuma said in court he took shower after having sex with HIV woman. I was so suprised by the response of the people towards that...In simple one line "It's very important to bath after having sex irrespective of the HIV status of the person you sleep with aslong you bath within 24hours after having sex. The was no need to blow Zuma out of proportion. Just ask any-1 in Iraq why they don't do sex a day before mosque if there is no electricity on that day?They even made it their tradition to bath within 24hours after having sex and it is line with their belief that you cannot enter mosque if you are dirty.

Another point I wish to touch on but it's not what we are talking about right now. It's Eskom, Thabo Mbeki and the price of electricy today and the lack of supply. That's a debate for another day but I wish people can do research on that and you will see how are we ripped off!!!

Johannesburg - The government gazette relating to e-tolling in Gauteng says that tariffs for motorists with e-tags will be set at 30 cents per kilometre, according to a report in the Star newspaper on Friday.


Standard rates for those without e-tags are more than double this amount.


Quoting the gazette, The Star said users without e-tags who pay their toll fees within 30 days will be given a 60% discount.


A monthly cap on heavy vehicles has also been included.


Cars and motorbikes are capped at a maximum of R550 a month, class B (small heavy vehicles) at R1 750 and class C (large heavy vehicles) at R3 500.


It is unclear when e-tolling will begin.


Government was expected to make an announcement on e-tolling later on Friday.


This week, cabinet approved the gazetting of terms and conditions, including updated tariffs.


There would be a 30-day period for public comment. The government would then incorporate the comments and publish its final position after 14 days.


The 30-day period expires one day before the start of the judicial review of e-tolling on November 26.

Only common sense should make us understnd tht th killing of ppl who were killed before 34 mineworkers should be classified as criminality nd tht's wat Cyril Ramaphosa said in one of his emails. Afta th death of ppl tht were killed by striking mineworkers Cyril sent an email tht reads "The terrible events tht hav unfolded cannot be described as labour dispute. Thy r plainly dastardy criminal nd must be characterised as such"
If u ain't hapi wit ur employer then stay out of work nd strike instead of ending th lives of innocent ppl over money. We can't ignore th fact tht th striking mineworkers killed ppl nd in any democratic country, bringing violence nd killing ppl wit any motive, is crime nd shld be characterised as such. Cyril was teling th truth cos u cnt sit nd do nthng abt ppl killing othr ppl bcos thy ain't hapi wit smthng. Ppl get vry angry in lyf but nobody has th ryt to kil sum1 unless tht persn is dangerous to u nd u r left wit no option but to defend urself for ur own safety. In tht instance ther should evidence to pruv tht too for u not to be charged wit murder. I endorse tht mineworkers shld earn decent wage but if thy kil thy shld be dealt wit. #No compromise to that#

Blade is a communist riding on the gravy train of the ANC. We never elected teh Communist party, yet they hold much power in our goverment. Of course he is going to defend those that gave him power and money. But he has a point, the ANC under Mbeki was bad , but hes forgetting that it has become worse under Zuma. Aids denialism was not fought againts by the new ANC leaders, but by peoepl like the Treatment Action Campaing, which had to take goevrment to court to get people Medicine. Same way, they had to be taken to court to deleiver textbooks to children in Limpopo.

The probelm is not only the current and recent ANC leaders, its the whole rotten/corrupt ANC. teh new cANCer in our society.

Blade is on the money this time. Mbeki can hardly criticise any one else. His inflated ego and sense of his own intellectualism, caused the deaths of many thousands of people. He was also a poor manager - he stuck to horrors like Manto and failed to ensure the handin gover of the presidency to a worthy person, by his obstinate inistence on a third term. We must not forget.

He and the goatie Mantashe failed to understand that the rollout actually commenced in Mbeki's time and they can thus not take credit for this. Either he conveniently forgets because Mbeki could not appoint him as a Minister, let alone making SACP to become so close to the corridors of power, or he is utterly stupid. Mbeki himself sincerely acknowledged the costly mistakes that occurred during his tenure but took steps to correct these prior to being removed from office by the ANC rascals. This is, regrettably, what cannot be said about the latter administration.

Blade has an Inkatha mentality. He cannot face criticism. He does not address the valid arguments that Mbeki is raising. Instead he raises, rightfully so, but in the wrong platform, something that we already know. He labels critics to delegitimise them. But we will not be fooled by him. With his arrogance and immunity to criticism he should return back to Inkatha. It goes to show that sometimes even a doctorate and outside exposure cannot rid a person of his background and the attitude formed in his formative years.
