FIVE men accused of shooting dead an IFP supporter appeared in the Durban Regional Court.

Bonginhlanhla Gwala, Bhungu Gwala, Mjabulelwa Gwala and Malusi Ncengwa were expected to apply for bail when the state introduced another man allegedly linked to the murder.

Skhumbuzo Nxumalo was arrested on Wednesday in KwaMashu, north of Durban.

The five men are accused of killing Cebesile Shezi.

Shezi, who was wearing an IFP T-shirt, was shot dead near the Thembalihle railway station in KwaMashu on October 6.
