I think he will cascade down to everyone as a lesson that no one is bigger than the ANC , the ANC can build an individual and the someone can destroy himself /herself , who ever misled these young boys must be held responsible for nearer ruining their careers.
The YL should understand the ANC is in government nt in arms struggle, we need discipline members to transform the country from legacy of apartheid not members who are misled by populists , tenderpreneurs and demagogues. Changing leadership every five yrs is opportunists by people inline for tenders.

I think that you are a bit harsh to your fellow citizens, particularly when you consider that the ANC which is enjoying the majority's sentimental votes, still has less than 1Million authentic members. From this membership, only 4500 members would be deciding on behalf of the rest of the country who their leaders should be in Mangaung. This decision would be imposed on the rest of the voters in the next elections as the only credible leadership and the alternative would be tantamount to resurrecting NATS from their grave. I just sit here, as a person who actually lived through a lot of it, and wonder what happened to what is supposed to be a proud organisation. The founding fathers of this organisation spoke languages that no one else in the world understood, yet they managed to make themselves heard all over the globe. And that in a time when they were banned, censorship was in force on information and they were hunted like wild animals. Now, when everything these fathers have struggled for is available to their successors, what is the message the world gets now? I must say President Zuma never had it easy. It was easy for him to get there because he was called "peoples person" but once there it was never easy for him. The problem is that he had too many people to "pay back". Menzi Simelane, General Bheki Cele, Juju, Mo Shaik to mention just a few. Vavi and labour movements also didnt make it easy for him, there's never been a year where we didnt see a labour unrest, from Civil Servants to transport and recently the mining industry. So whoever is coming will actually have it taugher because they will inherit the mess which we find our selves in. But if we elect people based on their capabiliteis to lead, we may get somewhere...the current of crop of Sexwale's, Cirel's and Lindiwe Sisulu's im afraid will not get us anywhere...Amen Report Abuse

You must know that in reality, if Zuma goes down, he must go down with all NEC members, including your Motlanthes , Your Malemas ( expelled ANC/YL president/member because malema was ex-ofisio NEC member) your Mbalulas etc. Zuma is just an elected leader of NEC of ANC who is guided by NEC for dicisions, that is where we talk of collectivism. If one talk of changes he/she must understand what he mean about changes. All elected NEC members elected in Polokwane must be changed as they are all dicision maker of the ANC. If you give Zuma 0%, Motlanthe must also get 0%, If Zuma is out of the country, Motlanthe must take over, unlike when Zuma was out Motlanthe failed to intervin at Marikana. I think there are good suggestions from the platform, but unfortunately the Mangaung Fever is upon us and the circus will continue unabated. We will forever bemoan the fact that the gravy train has been hijacked and unfortunately, they have not figure out yet, the destination.
The DA needs to seize this moment and stop preaching politics of convinience. It must not an alliance with monumental failures like the Lekotas and Buthelezis of this world. It must be careful that it does not suffer the fate of Azapo, which was led by seasoned intellectuals, but faded too quickly. I can freely volunteer my services to the DA, so that it can talk to the man on the street.
Let us make those that rule us accountable and ensure that they serve us not their friends and families. The ANC has lost the plot, period and the less said about it the better.

I think that you are a bit harsh to your fellow citizens, particularly when you consider that the ANC which is enjoying the majority's sentimental votes, still has less than 1Million authentic members. From this membership, only 4500 members would be deciding on behalf of the rest of the country who their leaders should be in Mangaung. This decision would be imposed on the rest of the voters in the next elections as the only credible leadership and the alternative would be tantamount to resurrecting NATS from their grave. Because of so many historic factors and the illiteracy levels in this country, many would buy into such lies!!! To me that is not necessarily stupidity on their part, but vulnerability.

I just sit here, as a person who actually lived through a lot of it, and wonder what happened to what is supposed to be a proud organisation. The founding fathers of this organisation spoke languages that no one else in the world understood, yet they managed to make themselves heard all over the globe. And that in a time when they were banned, censorship was in force on information and they were hunted like wild animals. I must say President Zuma never had it easy. It was easy for him to get there because he was called "peoples person" but once there it was never easy for him. The problem is that he had too many people to "pay back". Menzi Simelane, General Bheki Cele, Juju, Mo Shaik to mention just a few. Vavi and labour movements also didnt make it easy for him, there's never been a year where we didnt see a labour unrest, from Civil Servants to transport and recently the mining industry. So whoever is coming will actually have it taugher because they will inherit the mess which we find our selves in. Chief you sound like a members member if indeed you hav the membership card of the ANC. You must know that in reality, if Zuma goes down, he must go down with all NEC members, including your Motlanthes , Your Malemas ( expelled ANC/YL president/member because malema was ex-ofisio NEC member) your Mbalulas etc. Zuma is just an elected leader of NEC of ANC who is guided by NEC for dicisions, that is where we talk of collectivism. If one talk of changes he/she must understand what he mean about changes. All elected NEC members elected in Polokwane must be changed as they are all dicision maker of the ANC. If you give Zuma 0%, Motlanthe must also get 0%, If Zuma is out of the country, Motlanthe must take over, unlike when Zuma was out Motlanthe failed to intervin at Marikana. Good afternoonI think there are good suggestions from the platform, but unfortunately the Mangaung Fever is upon us and the circus will continue unabated. We will forever bemoan the fact that the gravy train has been hijacked and unfortunately, they have not figure out yet, the destination.
The DA needs to seize this moment and stop preaching politics of convinience. It must not an alliance with monumental failures like the Lekotas and Buthelezis of this world. It must be careful that it does not suffer the fate of Azapo, which was led by seasoned intellectuals, but faded too quickly. I can freely volunteer my services to the DA, so that it can talk to the man on the street.
Let us make those that rule us accountable and ensure that they serve us not their friends and families. The ANC has lost the plot, period and the less said about it the better.
