Two young men have been arrested for the murder of a 19-year-old youth at his school in Mossel Bay

Thabani Mntini was stabbed on the school premises around 10am on Monday morning, Captain Malcolm Pojie said.

He would not disclose the name of the school.

“It is alleged that the deceased was approached by the suspects during the morning break. A confrontation ensued and a fight apparently broke out between them,” he said in a statement.

“Thabani Mntini, 19 ... sustained two stab wounds in his face and one in his chest. The two suspects fled the scene on foot in the direction of Kwanonqaba.”

Other children took the teenager to the school office and the police were called. He died shortly after the police arrived.

Two 18-year-old teenagers were arrested in Kwanonqaba at noon.

They are expected to appear in the Mossel Bay Magistrate’s Court soon.

I rest my case, i no longer want to be a citizen of this country. On one hand is rapes, killing and most of all corruption in government and the most irritating one, Showerhead is busy building a small town for him and all the cizens of KZN.

there is no safe place, it must be so painful to have to be called to the school of your own child letting you know your child is no more, when you were with him/her in the morning helping the get ready for school. i hope to never get that call because, i am still of the belief that children are more safer at school than on the streets.
