President Jacob Zuma has expressed sadness at the death of the Xhosa royal family’s queen mother Nondwe Sigcawu.
“We are all shocked by the sudden death of Her Majesty,” Zuma said in a statement.
“We send our sincerest condolences, on behalf of government and the entire South African nation, to the Xhosa royal family nesizwe samaXhosa wonke [and the Xhosa nation].”
Sigcawu died at the Nqandu Royal Palace in the Eastern Cape on Saturday.

Zuma don't bother sending condolences to Xhosas generally we don't take these antiquatted good for nothing oxygen thieves serious, I didn't even know there was a Xhosa queen mother shows how irrelevant she was, so you wanna now make her relevant now that she is dead? what good or what was her purpose when alive? most importantly what has she done for her subjects?Report Abuse
