So we should applaud when the president tells us he has asked people who earn millions to freeze their pay for one year when the real issue is people are being paid as little as R 1,500 a month?

What is this freeze going to achieve and have we addressed the root cause?

People complain because Zuma is a useless president, if he wants us to stop complaining he has to earn that. Making pointless and superficial "compromises" does not take us forward as a country.

Agreed- it is VERY difficult to be positive abount the country when we are faced DAILY with reports of fraud/corruption/nepotism/rampant crime/ailing health sector/rape/escalating costs of everything and a government who think tax payers money is there, solely for the benifit of politicians and the connected.

We won't even touch on the racist remarks that are made by politicians and some of the connected without censure.

You (general you) cannot build anything up by pulling down another sector.

Give us something to be proud of - we all need some good news for a change!

Zuma is expressing the ''policy''of the ANC which loosely say ''Sweep everything bad or problematic under the carpet and hope it never resurface''.

The idiots who wants Zuma to retain his position after Mangaung must get their heads examined. They are actually giving him time and money to build Zumaville and King Zwelithini to chow more millions while majority of his people go to bed with nothing in their stomachs.

Hey wena - this is happening because you are NOT doing what you and the others promised? You said you would help the poor, improve education, provide good health services and safe transport. Every time we look its just CORRUPTION - someone stealing LOTS of money by giving tenders to their friend.

Mr President you must be man enough adn step down because it is quite clear that there are millions and millions in this country who have lost confidence in you, including your own party goers. Dont be ignorant no one is talking down on the country, merely questioning the decision making and non accountability at government level which is basicaly run by you, which simply means you and your anc are failing the nation as a hole. So go back to the drawing board and get your house in order instead of trying to change the way people look at things, we are not blind.
