Its indeed a high profiled case that needs to be attended by Forensic specialists, bloody stained clothes needs to be taken to forensic lab for DNA analysis and the scene was supposed to have been protected until further notice just to avoid contamination of evidence. the top to toe examination should have been done to collect all specimen and probable evidence from the body, for we sometimes put people behind bars without thorough investigation and we sometimes leave perpetrator due to lack of evidence Forensic is very broad and needs people with patience, never mind the crime scene investigation, blood spatters and autopsies we still need people for this is a growing, challenging, scarce and a paying field. I told her she was no more. She asked me if Thato had shot her. I told her I did not know, but people had seen him with my daughter earlier.
"She said she found it strange that though her son worked at Woolworths he had returned home that day with a bag of bloodstained clothes. He explained to her that he had become ill at work and started vomiting blood.
"But I felt she was protecting her child and ended the conversation."
