mashima?

Always people are arrested with drugs and sentenced, why can't they tell the SAPS who sent them or where they have found them, let alone the sentencing,to alliviate the drug trafficking. because she will be sentenced and others will be hired for the job.

Arrested for 2.6kg only? Maybe its true when they say some mules are used as a sacrifice while another big drug stash goes through undetected whilst they concentrated on this smaller one. These idiotic South African women! When will you wake up and smell the coffee? Going to die or spend your lifetime in a foreign jail just because someone promised you a cut after 'successful' delivery of the parcel? I do not feel sorry for you!

I'm sorry but no sympathy here. Its not like they don't know what the penalty is. Maybe they should make every school kid watch Midnight Express so they don't do this ish

Another small fry in deep oil. How is this going to help to eradicate the problem. Have the Hawks dispatched an investigator to find out who recruited her - are they tracing her movements and finding out who she was hanging out with. We need to catch the handlers and then only we will make a dent in the drugs trade.

@ MarilynMonroe - these mules get paid a pittance in comparison to what they are carrying. Going rate is usually between R 16 000.00 - R 30 000.00, hardly enough to buy expensive cars. Instead of judging people, should we not be asking what could have gone wrong in their lives to make them so desperate to become drug mules? I agree that you should pay the price for being a mule, however, they are at the bottom of the food chain in drug dealing. Most times, the people who hired them, are the ones who "pimped" them to authorities so that the next guy with an even bigger haul is let through. My two cents worth for curbing this problem..if you catch someone on a flight with drugs, stop all the passengers and check their bags. If you have nothing to hide you will have nothing to worry about.
