He was given more than enough chances to correct things, yet all you heard from him was, " I don't care, I'm not scared". Did he ever listen to other comrades? A number of high profile comrades advised him but he was always defiant. To be honest, I did not think he will be expelled at the beginning of his ill-discipline hearing, but the way he carried on after being granted right to appeal, was totally out of order. All of us as members of the ANC know that none of us is bigger than the movement.Eventually, the ANC was 100% correct to expel a former comrade, he caused his own downfall.
