If we keep JZ on we keep the womanizer an uneducated fool who's bringing SA to it's waist (he brought it to it's knees long ago). If KM comes in, he'll bring back Julius and fukk the country up a bit more.

WarrenG I think you dont know KM he will not bring JM back not under his watch or he will strip the ANCYL and then all shall be members of the ANC in that way he has no position. The reason he does not want to work with Mbalula as Secretary should tell you that he disagree with this boys. Apart JZ agreed with this boys that he will serve one term now that his case is threatened by the DA court case he want to remain the president.

If KM get to a deal with him he will be recalled if he is to allow the NPA do their job and charge JZ again with all the evidence they collected spending 50 million

True! As they say a fish rots from its head! There has been more corruption in the govt since JZ became pres than his predecessors tenure. How about change of ruling party than change of party leadership? If Zuma wins in Mangaung, we must vote for the opposition. If he looses, we can vote for the ANC as long as the leader is somebody with integrity and his crediblity is not questionable. It was a big mistake to let him lead when his integrity was in question. Remember the r.a.p.e case, the arms deal (Shaik family involvement) and yet the majority said he must be the pres?

Coming to the issue of the presidency office being a joke well I am lost or its me who do not understand a joke as per say.

Coming to the article Pallo Jordan is only raising an opinion which I doubt his colleagues within the NEC will agree. As I have aluded to you in democray of whatever form you do get persecuted for raising an opinion but the article lacks the details Pallo is talking about.

How dull it is to see the comments of such people like Pallo Jordan, Barney Pityane and Mbeki latey but they are just armchair thinkers, sitting in their comfortable office chairs, scanning newspaper, recitating what is written from the books'pages and peeping through the windows hoping something they can't get.

They must get their hands muddy, greasy, be in action,so to be realistic with life and your hope for a result maybe then will come. The old books' chapters are done, yet no productive result for Africa and new one must be in place, please academia mingle among the masses and free your hearts from bad wishing others. You will have healthy skin and body.

George Bernard Shaw once said that democracy is a process that ensures that we are ruled no better than we deserve to be, whilst Churchill famously remarked that the best argument against democracy is a five minute conversation with the average voter.

Nowhere is this more apparent than in ZA. Democratically we could solve this mess very easily if only there was any resolve from the people to do so.

I think this tendency of raising issues in the media is against the culture of the ANC, Pallo might not be in favour of JZ serving a second term but he should not make statements that attack the sitting President of his own political party publicly. Such behaviour does nothing but fuel discontentment and divisions within the organisation. From a man who has been lauded in the ANC to have a highly intellectual mind..you disappointed me Mr Jordan!

I told you and I still tell you, you are nowhere closure to be ANC supporter without mentioning membership. Jacob Zuma has been the first President from the ANC who stood up against corruption, it doesnt start and end with Malema so many people have been fired by Zuma claiming to be buddies of the President the likes of Cele,Shiceka,Nyanda etc who work hard for Zuma on the way to Polkwane.

The regime of Thabo Mbeki which was clouded by tribalism never took action against Bosasa's contract, Smuth Ngonyama on Vodacom deal, PetroSA scandal, Phumzile Ngcukas brother etc. I am referring here of multi billion deals sealed in the dark corners.

The findings of Madonsela that led to expulsion of Shicela should be applied the same to Malema, without favour, fear and prejudice.

My lesson to you, be a member of the ANC , attend branch meetings in order to avoid being misled by prophet of doom and gloom, in the branches its where we ere groomed politically.

Propaganda my friend. They had a bumper crop last year, which equals to about 50th of the size of bumper crops from the past. They still cant feed the few Zimbabweans remaining in the country.

"Minister of Agriculture Joseph Made said a third of the country’s planted crop for the 2012 season was a write-off, since farmers did not have irrigation systems and were too poor to buy required inputs on time."

It's with those within the ANC NEC to be vocal like Jordan to show the public what is realy happening behind the closed doors and tell it like it is. If more NEC members show unhappiness with Msholozi as a president, we at the ground will have strong babckbone to make sure that our cries are heard.

I dont understand why there are peopel out there who still think that the outgoing zuma must be a president again. Since he used his tactical skill to take over from Tbose, SA africa turned to have lost direction and became a real banana republic. We need a president who will respect all South African's culture and image. We dont want a president who will be having a lean approach and focus only on marrying every year. He will never have my vote on the coming election. Lets all go and cast our votes for K Motlanthe, we dont know if he will aslo step on the same direction. Juju man will one day become a president though the there are some hanging clounds. After mangaung he will be a full member of ANC. The report from Madonzela about the on point company is just the speculations and trying to impress zuma. We are all given oppurtunity to express our views and be listned. She is just expressing her frustration because of the unlwaful and illeterate insturction she is receiving from jz. Ntate Pallo is supposed to be a communist (SACP) cum ANC and he dares to say this out loud! I plaud him. But he should brace himslef for Gwede's and Blade's responses. These two are cowards though.

I agree that JZ may have dented and soiled futher the office of president both in the ANC and in government. JZ knows discontent that members had about TM and he (JZ) aggravated the situation by allowing corruption and disregard for proper governabce and ethics to continue under his watch. For example, the education crisis, the watergate scandal involving Ms Nkonyeni et al, Cele saga, his conduct of his private life, and now the upgrade at his residence, etc.

One can only partly blame JZ for this mess but the voters also have a role in all of this. The voters at ANC congress in December and the general public for voting ANC at 2014 general elections.

As to Mkhuluwa, he does not have the guts - I'm sure if it was Zuma he would have celebarted at the news that some provinces would like him to take the presidencey of the ANC.

I hate it when people keeps on thinking that mbeki was the greates leader to ever lead the ANC, yes he was educated and well travelled and exposed to the modern world's way of doing things, but most of troubles that the country is facing now was the result of his tribalistic, selfisness and arrogance, just imagine his lack of leadership in Transnet, Eskom, AIDS, SAA, Zuma issues and many more stupid or lack of decisions that, that man failled to show leadership!
should Mbeki has been man enough to aproach Ramaphosa though he was not his favourite person after his second term to come on board and position him to be the ANC president, all this BS abo Yengeni, the malema's, the mabuzas the mathales should have been eliminated, mbeki was a reason a barbarian in zuma was given a platform to shine, and zuma forgets that he was a compromised selection, if I were him, I would not wait for the compromise to be removed and I am found wanting, I would play my cards right, if anyone can ascend by himself to win against zuma, he might go to prison, but if someone ascend with zuma's blessings, chances are he might leave hapily after in Nkandla with his four wifes and few gfs!

If white, that person should be from ANC or any black-led ruling party. Obama is under a white-run Democratic Party which formed in 1792 (old) or 1892 (modern) and somehow he's the first black president of both the party and USA. It's not silly at all considering that you forced yourselves into ruling South Africa and did as you pleased with blacks. Who would give a decendant of that apartheid regime to rule again considering that - history always repeats itself?

True, since you were born here, you are South Africans deservedly but the apartheid system and its orchestrators (who happen to be boe'res/whites) ruined the chances of that (ruling) happening again in a solo (white-led party) mission.

If my son 4years is back from kindagarten school which is multiracial talks about "that white boy beat me and my Indian friend helped me fight him), what and how do you think the apartheid thing will come to pass. To the President of my country
Sir
With all due respect
There are a number of issues which are of grave concern to myself personally and therefore to many likeminded South Africans, regardless of race, colour or creed or religion.
Yes I am a white person ( umlungu) but if this disqualifies me from speaking my mind – you and the government have totally failed in the objective of equal rights and justice for all citizens.
ISSUES
#1 – When is the government going to stop blaming APARTHEID and take responsibility for its own actions and decisions? ( 18 years later )
#2 – When is corruption and fraud going to prosecuted to the full extent of the law?
#3 – When is the murder and rape of women and children going to be declared a capital offence?
#4 – When is AA and BEE going to stop so we can have the right people in the right jobs?
#5 – When will governmentally owned land be made available to the common folk so that we may establish our own homes?
And quickly to end on a more personal note –
#1 How many first world leaders sing and dance before making a speech?
# 2How many first world leaders have more than 1 wife?
Respectfully
A real South African
Frans

Mr Jordan a man of your callibre shouldn't come up with such a weak statement. The downfall of ANC is caused by the party itself. ANC was never and it will never be a one man show. Grid and selfishness by many indivisuals has made the party loose its dignity. You as one of the stalwartsof the ANC what have you done to save the party. Like always its nice to be a spectator and critisize. The problems facing SA cannot be solved by changing the president instead SA needs a united front to find solutions. One thing is clear. THERE IS DESPERATION IN THE ZUMA CAMP. Now Zuma factionalists want us to believe that Mbalula now supports a second term for Jacob Zuma. This kind of dirty tricks really show that despite the bravado in the media by Zuma factionalists (and Zuma apologists such as Karima Brown), Jacob Zuma is not reassured of re-election in Mangaung. The only way Jacob Zuma can be re-elected is if he is not contested. In his desperation to get re-elected, Zuma (in his address to MKMVA) is now referring to fellow ANC members who are sick and tired of his leadership as "the enemy within". Now in desperation some Zuma factionalists have been planting stories in the media that Mbalula now supports Jacob Zuma to be re-elected. The Guptas' newspaper which supports the Zuma faction, which gives the Guptas control of the ANC via their proxies, is quick to give these stories credence and talks of dismay and disappointment in the ANC Youth League. That is hardly surprising coming from a newspaper which is desperate in its reports and editorials to change the leadeship of the Youth League. Desperation in the Zuma camp is also clear from COSATU's Sdumo Dlamini's calling upon MKMVA to use their expertise to deal with enemies of the revolution. One hopes that he is not calling upon his thugs to start killing ANC members. What expertise do MKMVA have except in killing. Zuma supporters in private discussions claim that Zuma will win with 55% majority against Motlanthe's 45%.Knowing their tendency to exaggerate and make false claims Zuma is unlikely to get 51% if contested. Despite the fact that Jacob Zuma supporters have tried to rig the outcome well in advance of Mangaung, Motlanthe is still going to win and it is going to be very close. The padding of membership in KZN, Freistata and Mpumalanga will become clear when ANC branches hold their branch general meetings and they cannot quorate. Afterall one cannot quorate with ghost members. It is important that Motlanthe supporters watch these brnaches and make sure that membership attendance registers are not rigged. Motlanthe will be good for the ANC, whereas Zuma win represents more of the same if not worse.

The YCLSA which has the temerity to comment on ANC election processes is also very desperate. It now claims that those agitating for change are weak links in the ANC. The Young Communist League itself is the weakest link as it only serves as a lobby for positions for people like Blade Nzimande. ANC branches have every right to exercise their democratic and constitutional right to elect leadership without being called names by Blade Nzimande's lapdogs. Every member of the ANC in good standing has every right to stand for election if nominated by ANC branches.
