A 47-year-old woman has been arrested for allegedly attempting to kill her husband with acid in KwaMashu, north of Durban, KwaZulu-Natal police said.
“The suspect had a fight with her husband on Friday because she suspected he was cheating on her,” Captain Thulani Zwane said.
The woman poured acid on her 42-year-old husband while he was sleeping on the couch.
The man was found in the road by his 14-year-old son after he had tried to run away from his wife.
The man’s son called an ambulance.
The man was taken to hospital, where he was in a critical condition, Zwane said.
She was arrested on Tuesday.

I pitty the 14 year old son, he saw big things before his time, I just wonder if we have Social workers who can deal with his mind right now, poor thin.
