As a member of the ANC and ANCYL; we must start opening our eyes and ears regarding the way forward in the leadership of the organisation. With the policy in place as a guideline for every leadership collective for a certain period (say 5 years), the main challenge is how the leader and his five ship operators run the big vessel - the style and magnetism with regards to people on the ground.
Be it Zuma or Mothlanthe in the helm, it makes much not of a difference but the manner in which either of them fulfils the contents of the policy is very crucial. With Zuma showing the elemnts of dictatorship and having lost touch with the people on the ground, the elite PEC's who support Zuma's style of doing things are the ones who will let the whole of South Africans down and by 2017, the same people will have looted more money to survive in ANC's non-existance after that.
1. What is this leadership continuation all about; are they saying Zuma should continue looting while we are watching helplessly?
2. Do we have to acknowledge his un-Africanism when the education system is crushing and he on the other hand says nothing about that instead of taking a button and do what is right for every child?
3. Do we have to sit back and pretend as if nothing is happening while wrong people are deployed to top positions as an insurance to highway to corruption?
This divided ANC will live to vanish if the main reason to be in the helm is to enrich oneself instead of improving the lives of all citizens of South Africa.

The mining and agriculture sectors are made to be the scapegoat for the ills of inequality in SA when in fact it is the governments wasteful spending, abuse of power, failure to correctly implement AA and BEE policies, the downgrading of our education system, high unemployment rate and high cost of living that are impacting on our economy. JM was quite happy with the status quo when he was inside but now that he isnt anymore he is trying to bring the circle down with him. We all see what is happening with SAA and SABC so do you really think that by the anc "pursuing" these sectors it will be different. Look at the productive farm land given to black famers. Most have become unproductive, been taken back by government and on one farm numerous cows had to be euthenised. Economic Freedom will ALWAYS start with better education. However, employers and the government need to reconsider how they deal with the workers' anger that I think is, in all respects, justified although some of their demands need a touch of reality and they also have to desist from violent actions as these overshadow these genuine cries for justice in terms of wages. Firstly, he is not a public servant and/or representative who have been trusted with the public funds.

There is tendency in this country by certain politicians to tell people what they want to hear and act as if they care just to revive or advance their political agenda. Zuma did this prior 2007 and Malema is now busy with it and yet things will remain the same for these people. The sooner the people fully understand the power of their votes and politicians appreciating its value the better. I wonder how the youth benefited during Malema's tenure as the President of ANCYL given that the quality of education and health is poor and unemployment especially amongst black youth remain high. Malema spent most of his tenure fighting his leaders, his own party, milking the state (allegedly) and creating a personal cult, instead of prioritizing the issues which affects the youth on a daily basis. As a member of the ANC and ANCYL; we must start opening our eyes and ears regarding the way forward in the leadership of the organisation. With the policy in place as a guideline for every leadership collective for a certain period (say 5 years), the main challenge is how the leader and his five ship operators run the big vessel - the style and magnetism with regards to people on the ground.Be it Zuma or Mothlanthe in the helm, it makes much not of a difference but the manner in which either of them fulfils the contents of the policy is very crucial. With Zuma showing the elemnts of dictatorship and having lost touch with the people on the ground, the elite PEC's who support Zuma's style of doing things are the ones who will let the whole of South Africans down and by 2017, the same people will have looted more money to survive in ANC's non-existance after that.
1. What is this leadership continuation all about; are they saying Zuma should continue looting while we are watching helplessly?
2. Do we have to acknowledge his un-Africanism when the education system is crushing and he on the other hand says nothing about that instead of taking a button and do what is right for every child?
3. Do we have to sit back and pretend as if nothing is happening while wrong people are deployed to top positions as an insurance to highway to corruption?
This divided ANC will live to vanish if the main reason to be in the helm is to enrich oneself instead of improving the lives of all citizens of South Africa.

JM was quite happy with the status quo when he was inside but now that he isnt anymore he is trying to bring the circle down with him. We all see what is happening with SAA and SABC so do you really think that by the anc "pursuing" these sectors it will be different. Look at the productive farm land given to black famers. Most have become unproductive, been taken back by government and on one farm numerous cows had to be euthenised. Economic Freedom will ALWAYS start with better education. There is tendency in this country by certain politicians to tell people what they want to hear and act as if they care just to revive or advance their political agenda. Zuma did this prior 2007 and Malema is now busy with it and yet things will remain the same for these people. The sooner the people fully understand the power of their votes and politicians appreciating its value the better. I wonder how the youth benefited during Malema's tenure as the President of ANCYL given that the quality of education and health is poor and unemployment especially amongst black youth remain high. Malema spent most of his tenure fighting his leaders, his own party, milking the state (allegedly) and creating a personal cult, instead of prioritizing the issues which affects the youth on a daily basis.Report Abuse
