A meeting between the inter-ministerial committee on e-tolling and Cosatu, chaired by Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe, will again convene next week.
Automobile Association spokesman Gary Ronald said it was worrying that the ETC contracts remained confidential. They should be made public for the citizens who would be paying the toll fees.

What "no final word". We said we don't want e_toll. That is final.
@mnc3disi - they have already said that the e_toll will be there forever. They said something about replacement cost and maintenance. Report Abuse

Road users would still have to foot the bill of more than R1.1 billion per annum just to cover the electronic toll collection process.

ANC is really screwing us, we vote for them, they increase taxes & almost on a daily basis we hear about millions being misused/ frauded by few a individuals.
Who was consulted before this e-toll thing was even built? There were tenders given to a few, they chowed their chunk of money & resigned, now the problem is left with the innocent citizens.
At first I thought they were putting up new speed cameras.
I highly doubt ANC will be getting my vote next time. Report Abuse
