Naledi Pandor takes over from president's former wife as Minister of Home Affairs
Science and Technology Minister Naledi Pandor has been appointed by President Jacob Zuma as Minister of Home Affairs.
Deputy Science Minister Derek Hanekom will take over as Minister of Science and Technology.
“I congratulate Ms Pandor and Mr Hanekom on their appointments,” Zuma said in a statement.
“They have distinguished themselves in their current portfolios and I am confident that they will do exceptionally well in their new responsibilities as well. I wish them all the best.”
Home Affairs Minister Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma resigned from her position last month to head up the African Union commission in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

I wish they would leave her in one position long enough to fix it completely before moving her around again. She really is a hard working, ethical lady.Wonder why they passed over Fatima Chohan?

The stability within the cabinet is questionable, msholozi keep on reshuffling,it is like trial and error test, they test if you can do it if you cannot you are reshuffled. I never seen so much reshuffling before. That is why we need fresh blood, someone who will pick ministers based on their said portfolios, not putting them in a trial and error test.Report Abuse

You people are always whining, don't you? There is no reason to whine in this story to be honest. Some of you don't even read, the moment you see surname Zuma, you start whining...Report Abuse
