Mxm! as in the deep rural like Swartkopfontien and Supingstad @ Lehurutshe, since the former home land rre Mangope nothing has happen there. the road is unbearable in such away is hard to visit our grandparents. e-Tolling every tarred road in SA in the cards very soon?What happened to the announced Billions of rands by JZuma in this year’s SNA for fixing potholes & create jobs?

How I wish all these people that are in high positions would be held responsible for misusing what is meant to benefit the people. I cannot even begin to describe the conditions of the roads in the rural area where I come from, I come from Mt Fletcher .Ulundi Municipality....in the forgotten part of Eastern Cape.....I am tired also of reading about the conditions, I am not wasting my vote anymore.I want Action for my vote Report Abuse

We have had that before Kader Asmal, Mac Maharaj, Jeff Radebe, Sbu Ndebele and now it is you Mr Ben Martins. We need concrete solutions not lip service to the road problems. I once drove more than 100 km on gravel Ganyesa to Sudi and also Henigvlei without an alternative road. You ask yourself if these people are indeed seeing the fruit of our hard faught freedom. funny part is that new roads built as late as 2004 needs complete resurfacing due to poor workmanship while roads build before 1994 are far better off.......just like RDP houses we have seen roads of poor quality built by tenderpreneurs
I want skontiri in my kasi, Mountain View, next to kwaMhlanga, they failed to lay tar for just 7 km of road, they only did about 400 meters and then the budgeted amount was over, ( chowed obviously) how pathetic, I am not buying any tag...........and I want quality road, there is roads that were built in 1980, they still there, roads built in 2011 already have potholes...... R-Something between Lichtenburg and Koster has been under construction for centuries. They removed the quality road that used to be there and replaced it with miseries. The contractors have been fighting over the tender for ever. I am tired of talk now, I want action!!!!! The pot-belied politician do not feel the hardships that we are experiencing!!!!!! Report Abuse
