From the TV report, all she knows is that they were held in a shipping container as they were blind folded every time they left the container. They may be able to piece it together from sounds, smells and length of driving time but it would depend on how panicked she was at the time

After watching the news yesterday,my heart is still bleeding for what this woman went through. These women were kidnapped by foreigners with a help of a scumbag taxi driver. This woman says one lady who she was with was shot point blank in the head and her brains scattered. Human trafficking is rife in this country and our government is too much soft on dealing with it.

This lady was not rescued by the cops, but she ran away after she was sent by her captures to withdraw ransom money which was paid by her family. Police lost the chance of arresting these scumbags because they were told by the family and laid in wait for these thugs.I assume the police used marked cars and that alarmed these scumbags.

These Foreigners are dismantling our country. Those South African citizens who are helping them must be killed as well. SARS,HOME AFFAIRS,TACTICAL RESPONSE must raid all suspicious flats and houses where these foreigners mostly Nigerians stay in JHB,DBN,PE,CT and etc.

Please people grow up, this is not about KZN or Zulus. Human trafficking and women abuse is rife, it is happening in PTA,JHB,CT even in your Eastern Cape Ntomb'omxhosa. Lets deal with Foreigners who are causing chaos in this country. This is painful.

We can quickly point fingers at the foreigners being the leaders to this gang but it does not remove the fact that our own brothers are involved in this. Foreigners have an upper hand in this because our own brothers have no allegiance to us and have no wish to protect us.

People should refrain from saying KZN DBN this that, this is our country., they can originate from anywhere...it shows how narrow minded some people are, maybe these are your long lost neighbours, the issue her is that innocent girls are kept against their will and being rapped, I should assume we are informed so we can be aware of the situation.

I'm proud of KZN, DBN and we have men whom I respect that are from there...generalization sometimes is just wrong.

These stories has a lot of holes in it.First off based on the report i read over the years SA criminals hardly collaborate with foreign criminals so it is either sowetan is spicing this story to stir anger amongst SA blogger or they themselves have been fed a lie.

For those of you quick to point to Nigerians ,please ask yourselves these questions:

How many times have Nigerians been arrested for shooting anyone in South Africa?

How many times have Nigerians been arrested alongside a South African for Kidnapping & Murder?

Nigerians criminals prefer to use their brains instead of using weapons otherwise known as the art of non violent persuasion. While i hate to point fingers at anyone ,my belief is that this is a 100% South African run operation and if there were foreigner involved they will must likely will come from Zimbabwe or Mozambique.

I may be wrong but based on past incidents ,this is what i believe to the case.Nigerian criminals are many things but they don't kill, rob or burgle people's home. They mostly specialize in the drug trade, prostitution syndicates and fraud.

nigerians are too smart to engage in such pedestrian crime as this, and for those south africans who blame all the ills plaguing SA on foreigners, I think it's high time you guys take hike and jump into rivers limpopo or zambezi, whichever is nearer to you. you live in a morally decadent society and yet you bury your heads in the sand by blaming others. until you guys learn to tackle issues head-on, this kind of crime will continue to be common place in your god forsaken country.

The giirl said that some of the capt0rs couldn't spe@k any SA 1anguage other than Eng1ish. That poiints to a foreiigner. There is a1so the litt1e mattter of Ambrose who is currently siitting in jai1 (unfortunately) on a charge of conspiiracy to commiit murrder. Don't try and put people into neatly labeled 1ittle boxes, we are all individua1s and speakiing a 1anguage doesn't make you the same as everyone else who speaks the same 1anguage.

@MommaC

The report on News 24 states that the captors spoke bad zulu. From my own experience the people who bother to even try to speak Zulu are African foreigner from southern Africa.I should know because i have lived amongst them.Nigerians and west Africans in SA don't and won't bother to speak any South African language as we deem it unnecessary. If they were involved they would have simply made their demands in English language.

In regards to Ambrose,he was not the triggerman but a greedy heartless fool who decided to get involved and be a middleman for the murder plot. The main shooter is now unfortunately (to put it like you) state witness. I still can not recall one single incident where a Nigerian was arrested for being the triggerman in any Murder in south Africa.Do you remember the case of the Afrikaner woman who tried to hire two Nigerian gentleman in a club to assassinate her daughter's boyfriend.Even with all the money she offered them they just played her for the fool she was and finally gave her up to the police. Her "generalization mentality" is what got her into trouble because she thought all foreign Africans are murderers.

Like i said earlier ,Nigerian criminals are many things but they hardly take or conspire to take human life. This crime does not fit their M.O not even in the slightest way.
