Underground sit-in at chrome mine

Striking mine workers at the Samancor Chrome mine in Mooinooi, Rustenburg were staging an underground sit-in to demand a R12,500 monthly salary, said the Rustenburg Joint Strike Co-ordinating Committee.

I think the solution to this mine protest and strikes is for government to intervene by making a ruling to all mines in RSA that each and everyone get R12.500 because really we can't afford to have this popcorn strikes each and everyday that popout everywhere....Zuma makes as if things are ok whereas we have a crisis in our mines that need special attention from the government
