"it was by the grace of God that the incident happened where there is no civilisation" WHAT??? How civilisation or lack of, is relevant to a bombed truck??? Editor or Machaea, something is not adding up.

Poverty is a crime.

Poor people are dead walking already and for as long as their demands are ignored, innocent people who ignore their plea will suffer whilst the investors watch and drink whiskey with a smile. When a strike is called, people should just listen and adhere, simple as that.

This is just only the beginning

More chants will emerge as society is tired of constant disparities. Besides, Prison is their only refuge. The question is, will they imprison everyone?

More fire

I blame the truck or company owners that gave the poor driver an instruction to work while other workers are on strike. putting the life of the man in danger and now look they lost the truck and petrol value inside it instead of just waiting the course of strike.
They must just be thankful that the driver didn't die (escaping with a few burned hands) otherwise they'll have to explain in court of law.
Now look at this: Truck: R2,5 mil; Fuel: R600k; Injured driver: couple of thousands
I'm very sure the waiting the course of strike outweighs the lost of revenue due to poor decision making.
