Wow, the corruption in South Africa is overpowering. Replacing a lease who paid R19,000 a month for one that pays R36 a month.

And two months later, no tender documentation can be produced. Probably being rewritten as we speak.

Meanwhile, the deputy of the Education department, said that R2.3 BILLION went 'missing'.


The ANC, in every sphere of government doesnt know how to govern honestly.

I was in Pilgrims rest 2 months ago, and since your " blac.k fellows" have taken over it is going down. In the extremely precious and historic old bar of the hotel, with its rich history, your " b.lack fellows" now come in with fish and chips bags, spread it on the counter, and sit and eat open mouthed while making as much noise as possible. The barman does nothing, in fact these people were his friends. It chased me and other tourists away. That is not the manner to behave in a beautiful historic bar. Get with the programme boet, you are being left behind.

Also, your view is one sided - the wh.te man's contribution was to build and develop the country to the economic powerhouse of Africa, now the country has been liberated, so we can all share in the prosperity that it offers. The whi.tes ( forget about the AWB, Boermag types, they are a small mino.rity) now want to contribute positvely, and they are doing it. Look forward to a bright future for our children, which can be achieved in a spirit of cooperation and pride. We have been Africans for 350 yrs mbondo, we are not going away. DJ, you read insults where there are none. You say that Sin doesn't mention service delivery in Cape Town. You always bring it up but fail to mention the even sadder state of affairs in ANC run constituencies. I am wondering why that is. Is it easier to point fingers? The sooner you gain some confidence and stop seeing an insult in legitimate criticism, the better off you are going to be. You should hear yourself. It's tired already. Nobody can speak out about a black person, because then it's a whine about racism and insulting. It's like dealing with a bunch of five year olds. Stop insisting on being treated with cotton wool gloves. The ANC is not doing its best job. People are calling them on it. There is no racism there...but every time a black person is called on it, the snot and tears arrive. yea, the article doesn't mention that 5 of those who are complaining are black people. This has more to do with giving tenders to maatjies than it has to do with race. The councilors may pretend it is about race but that doesn't explain why black people have had their leases revoked or why other black people have not been awarded anything but a few friends managed to get a whole pile of leases

The tender system needs to start changing!
Companies that win tenders over a certain amount should be compelled to give back to the community somehow!
We cannot have SME's taking advantage of this system, not delivering and not helping their surrounding community. Further, certain tenders should be designated for SME's in the surrounding community!

The main aim should be to distribute money to a many people. But many corporates only use a few suppliers - the monet only goes to a few.

Therefore - scrap BEE and implement tender system which measures how many suppliers you have and how many employees - that will distribute wealth.

Geez, cant you read, I said you were right, it was all the protests in the anc wards, go and google it numbnut, see for yourself, or would the truth hurt to much, did you know that kaya was only taken over by the DA this week or last in bi-elections and that is where the most protests were. Truth hurts hey, this shows you that the anc has failed the people and they are now going over to the better party. One by one the wards will be taken away by the DA. the fall of your anc is slowly but surely happening.
