Marikana Settlement welcomed AUDIO

The Inter-Ministerial Committee on the Marikana Tragedy led by Minister in The Presidency, Collins Chabane has welcomed the settlement reached by striking Marikana miners and the Lonmin Mine Management. The 22% wage increase marks the end of the violent 6-week-long strike that saw 36 mine workers, two police officers, six other unidentified persons killed and an additional 78 other workers and police injured.
