Bosso ke Morgan Tsvangirai... apparently he married his new bride in terms of customary laws which would effectively render Miss Karimatsenga without grounds to challenge him legally, he would have violated a court order had he married in terms of a civil marriage.... this was a clever move on his part to buy him time to finalise the annulment of his marriage with Karimatsenga.. when that hurdle is finally jumped, he can go to court and change his matrimonial regime with his new bride into a civil union..... According to "Common Law" which is applicable to any country; you cannot prevent anyone including any act that is not practiced violently. Morgan holds the rights to get married as many times as he likes, however if his first marriage was a Civil Union then Legally or according to Zimbabwe Marriage Act, it will be regarded as "null and void" because the "gate keeper" which is Matrimonial Property Act clearly stipulates 'one man - one woman' under a Civil Union and he has automatically vioalated the Matrimonial Property Act. There are two 'Remedial Actions': Firstly his first wife can divorce him for contraveing with a 'gate keeper Act' and order that he looses wholey or partly of their joint estate. Secondly Morgan can check when did he get married the first time. If the Zimbabwe Marrige Act was amended, re-enacted after he got married; then he can apply for his first marriage to be declared as a Customary Marriage; and get away with it. He can also sue the Zimbabwe state for failing to interpret their Laws which resulted in his name being tarnished beyond redemption. Report Abuse
