R100,000 reward for kids' killings

The three are believed to have been stoned to death

ALMOST a month after three Limpopo children were found murdered at Mookgophong, police have offered a reward for information that could lead to the arrest of the killers.

Police yesterday offered a R100,000 reward for the information.

The bodies of Bafana Kekana, 9, his cousins Hosea, 10, and Johanna Kekana, 12, were found on August 18 . The three were believed to have been stoned to death. Police spokesman Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi said Johanna was raped before she was killed.

"After investigations could not yield any positive results, we deemed it fit to offer a reward," Mulaudzi said yesterday.

Mulaudzi urged anyone with information, "no matter how trivial", about the murders to contact Captain Tshinyadzo Ndou on082-807-2666 or Captain Samuel Chuene on 082-565-8299.
