The man was caught raping his 6-year-old granddaughter by her mother
A man was jailed for 25 years by the Dundee Magistrate’s Court on Thursday for raping his grandchild, said KwaZulu-Natal police.
Colonel Vincent Mdunge said the 52-year-old man was sentenced on Wednesday for the crime, committed in July 2011.
The man was caught raping his six-year-old granddaughter by her mother.
He had apologised to the girl’s mother, said Mdunge.
