So media is trying so hard to disgrace and trash these miners so the blame can be put on their heads?

Well guess what, you can do that with Political Parties like the ANC but forget those silly tactics on people because they can see.

You cannot fool the people all the time

.............................................................................
Its easy to say such things when its not your family, if it was yours you were gonna find it ridiculous when somebody else made it. Now we are suppose to take the death of this family man lighty because it's only one person and not 34 and also not shot by police. Its ok when miners kill but not ok when they are killed. So that is what they want to be exact.

Yes, something horribly went wrong in the salary advice of those miners. Maybe irubber and pencil could be used to change R 4,000.00 to just R12, 500.00 per month without bloodshed don’t you think?

You learn Ubuntu not in class but at home from your parents; if they don’t have, you look around in the neighborhood for the right teachings.

@BlackSeed, fully agree with you when you say at home is where ubuntu should be initiated, but how can you say you learn ubuntu out there when you and I can see for ourselves how the ball has shifted emphakathini.....As for the R4000 vs R12 500 I think the gap should be closed asap and atleast to R8000 is sensible. What do you think?

While you are sitting comfortably in your office, sipping coffee and commenting on your ipad, someone has lost a dad, husband, brother, grandfather. Someone out there dont know where the next meal will be coming from because the breadwinner is no more.

I wish the Bishop was a true Christian who told no lies. We have seen those miners at the koppie carrying weapons, they even forced a hospital to close when they marched there a day or so ago. Before the shooting that left 34 dead, they had set alight security guards (alive), or maybe the Bishop regards that as exorcism of demons? Two policemen were hacked to death and their faces were unrecognizable, six miners were also hacked, four were Num shopsterwards and the other two were ordinary Num members. There is no war between AMCU and NUM, but there is a war declared on NUM by AMCU. No member of Solidarity, Cepawu and Uasa have been attacked so far, they have just been threatened with death by the same illegal strikers that the Bishop alleges "are not violent".

I also disagree with those who think that Pres Zuma must intervene, why? The govt has put dispute resolution mechanisms in place at the work place inline with the labour laws of the country and such must be given a chance and space to assist in breaking the deadlock. The biggest stumbling block is that the strikers are not prepared to move an inch towards the negotiating table unless "their demands are met". What will be the point of negotiating after "their demands are met"?

AMCU must bear in mind that they do not hold the patent to killing, those who are victims today will not remain victims forever. Why kill other workers who have no powers to increase salaries or change working conditions? Why not direct your weapons at those who hold power? Is this a political ploy or a wage dispute?

Are we really expecting the Presidency, President to respond on these Malemas personal aims at regaining what he once almost had, a chance to mobilize constructively? Where are the women and children who depend on these mine workers to set food on their table? Perhaps they should march to Malemas house and demand a share in his holdings he scraped whilst he was active in the Youth League, he very much knows what he scored and gained financialy.
