A GROUP of about 150 people blocked the Umgeni Road near the N2 in Durban yesterday
Lieutenant Colonel Vincent Mdunge said protesters burnt tyres and barricaded the road.
Protesters complained they were not hired at the construction site of a new bridge on Umgeni Road.
