Over 2,500 universities were evaluated
THE University of Cape Town is still the country's best university, that is according to the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings for 2012-13.
Like last year, UCT was the only South African and African university to make it to the top 200 of the world's best universities.
The university moved up from last year's overall 156th position to 154, with a 55.7 ranking points from a possible 100.

madamX - of course, top 5 Africa TOPS world universities. Make up your minds - are we part of the global environment or NOT? Do we want to compete on a world stage OR do we just need the rest of the world for investment and aid money?Report Abuse
