I have a friend who is quadraplegic, the results of a car accident. They botched his operations instead of operating his neck, they operated his spine and upon realising theis they pump him a spasm suppresing medication Larasel, so that it kills what ever little movement he has in his feet. Funny how you read the same story with the same set of facts from two different sources and the stories seem to contradict each other.
Facts:
1. Nomfundo Nqinana was told about Stilnox by a family friend who had read a story in City Press about a comatose patient who had recovered in less than 24 hours after having Stilnox administered "by accident".
2. After hearing about that case from a friend and given her desperate situation she talked to the doctors and insisted on this medication being administered to her husband as she had nothing to lose.
3. After a protracted debate with doctors and he unwavering insistence the pill was administered to her husband but did not work immediately. It was after about a week she received a call from the hospital informing her that her husband had not only slipped out of the coma and was talking again.
We can debate cause and effect all day but you don't have to be a genius to figure out the pill has woken up people who were in a coma for years, how anyone can debate otherwise is a mystery to me.
The debate should be how and what the adverse effects are.
The way this story is written is misleading and creates an impression that she does not know what she is talking about when if truth be told Mr Mqanana would still be in a coma had it not been for her, not the doctors who are now question what happened.
People this has nothing to do with god, there is an active agent in Stilnox that is responsible for this and other cases like it where the drug indeed work.
it is not a miracle, there is a medical explanation for this though not fully understood yet.

Stilnox: miracle story
Sally Nielsen's world was turned upside down last year, when her 24 year old fiance suffered two major strokes while playing soccer. Sam Goddard was left unable to move or communicate. But Sally's determination to cure him resulted in a small miracle. With daily doses of the sleeping drug stilnox, Sam is able to walk and talk once more. Sally joined TODAY for a chat.
Sally Nielsen's fiance Sam, 24, suffered two massive strokes during a soccer match on Valentines Day in 2010 which lead to severe brain damage
Doctors said he wouldn't live, but after being in a coma for 45 days, he woke and was moved out of the Intensive Care Unit at Royal Brisbane Hospital.
He was able to stretch and open his fist, and then he was able to walk unassisted - but this progress diminished and he still wasn't able to communicate.
He later was moved back home - Whilst he cannot communicate, he is aware of all is surroundings, and what is going on.
Sally researched the sleeping pill Stilnox - and how it was having a different reaction on brain injury victims to people simply wanting to sleep.
When they were finally allowed to start using it on Sam to see what sort of effect it would have, he was able to talk and respond to them 99% as his old self would.
His face begins to relax and he can respond and laugh and carry on a normal conversation.
When the stilnox starts to wear off, his words start to slow down, they become very slurred and he starts to panic. He gets emotional and upset because he doesn't want to lose the ability to talk and he doesn't want to regress back into feeling trapped inside of his body.
Currently, Sam receives two x 15mg doses of Stilnox a day and it last for two hours at a time.
Sally looks after Sam for 20 hours a day; she then has a carer who comes in for four hours to relieve her.
About Stilnox:
Stilnox is a prescription medication used for the short-term treatment of insomnia as well as some brain disorders.
It works quickly (usually within 15 minutes) and has a short half life: 2-3 hours.
The active ingredient is called Zolpidem - it is a sedative which acts as a central nervous system depressant that slows down the activities of the brain to be able to induce sleep.
Sally came across a case study in South Africa where a man was motionless for years, his eyes open but unseeing. Doctors said he would never see or speak or hear but his mother, would dissolve Stilnox with water and force into his mouth and within half an hour, as if a switch had been flicked in his brain, he would look around and say hello.
''People this has nothing to do with god, there is an active agent in Stilnox that is responsible for this and other cases like it where the drug indeed work.''

A medical explanation:
Stilnox Pharmacology
Zolpidem is a sedative or hypnotic agent with a chemical structure unrelated to benzodiazepines, barbiturates, or other drugs with known hypnotic properties. It interacts with a GABA-BZ receptor complex and shares some of the pharmacological properties of the benzodiazepines. In contrast to the benzodiazepines, which non-selectively bind to and activate all three alpha receptor subtypes, zolpidem in vitro binds the (alpha1) receptor preferentially. The (alpha1) receptor is found primarily on the Lamina IV of the sensorimotor cortical regions, substantia nigra (pars reticulata), cerebellum molecular layer, olfactory bulb, ventral thalamic complex, pons, inferior colliculus, and globus pallidus.
Stilnox Absorption
Zolpidem is rapidly absorbed from the GI tract.
Stilnox side effects and Toxicity
Oral (male rat) LD50 = 695 mg/kg. Symptoms of overdose include impairment of consciousness ranging from somnolence to light coma.
Reading the above I fully understand how it works. Because it enduces a light coma when taken in abundance when it wears off the brain reacts light it would once the effects wear off. Think of someone is drunk and slowly regains control of your cognitive abilities as the alcohol wears off, the medication works in a similar way. As the brain reacts to the pill it recovers as if the patient was in a mild coma hence regaining consciousness.
This makes complete sense to me but then again I am not a doctor, I was too squimish for that so I changed my mind at the last moment.
What do you mean this has nothing to do with GOD??? No man is intelligent by himself. God chooses ''saviours'', give them knowledge, power and skills to do or create wonders that will benefit more people.
