PRETORIA police yesterday discovered another drug lab, with drugs - with a street value of R5-million - at a storage facility in Silverton.
The discovery was made months after drugs, with a street value of R15m, were found in one of the city suburbs.
In yesterday's bust, CAT was packaged in small wrappings and stuffed into animal sculptures. Police say the two storage units were hired to a man who stopped paying rent, several months ago.
Captain Kabelo Morumo said: "The owner went to the Silverton police station complaining that he was not being paid rent.
"Police then accompanied the complainant there and forced open the storage unit only to find that it had been turned into a drug lab."
Police believe that the makeshift lab could have been secretly operating for as long as three years, undetected .
